10 years ago 3 scientists created and A.I. capable of evolving like animals.

As the robots evolved they slowly killed all living beings,  other than 3 animals:

Samael The Cat: The calm and controlled leader of the group.

Baxter The Bunny: The ex-leader in the war against robots saved by Samael after an attack killed all he cared about. The memories of who he fought for bring him speed.

Max The Dog: The fast and fearful dog searching for a way to revive his dead brother.
